Sequence Dancing on the Costa del Sol
I have had quite a few enquiries from dancers
who are thinking of taking a holiday up the
Costa del Sol(Spain) about Sequence dancing
there, so i have asked our friends Jim & Janet
who run and teach Sequence in the Costa del Sol
to give us details of venues etc. in the area.
I have included details at the bottom of the
page.
Thanks to Jim & Janet.
Sequence Dance Holidays
Came across KingsHill Holidays on the web and so
sent off for a brochure. They are a U.K. tour operator
that specialise in Sequence Dance holidays. They orga-
-nise holidays in both the U.K. and abroad, and their
selection in superb. I know most of you are Cruise Mad
but its worth having a look at what they have to offer.
Overseas Enquiries for Holidays
We've had a few enquiries from U.K. Club's
about the possibility of organising Sequence
Dance Holidays to Gibraltar.
During a conversation with Wilfred our DSA
Club Leader i mentioned this to him and he
assured me that any overseas club wanting
to come over would be very welcomed and
supported by them. The DSA have a large
hall available (see pictures our Hall above)
and would help organize the event.
Sequence Dancers on holiday around the
Gibraltar area are also welcomed to attend
our sessions and functions.
If you require further information please
send me an e-mail here.

a great success. Everyone enjoyed the

nice restaurant. Well done all !
DSA Spring Ball
The DSA May Ball will again be held at
the Alboran Hotel in Algeciras on the 17th
May 2008.
The DSA Spring Ball was without doubt one
of the best we have ever had in the Alboran
Hotel. From the start the pre-dinner drinks
and food served at the terrace was superb.
The dinner and wine selection was great, and
the attention by the staff and management
during the whole event was to be applauded.
A great success! Congratulations to the
Committee who worked extremely hard during
the event making sure everyone was enjoying
it!
By the way, i think one of the highlights of the
dance was the ''Leaders Assortment''.Great
idea!

Mark our caterer put on a superb
BBQ which was enjoyed by all.
The event turned out to be a BBQ
Dance with a difference. Wilfred

programme packed with 44 of the
most popular club dances including
by popular request 'The Leaders
Choice'(a real gem of a dance).
It was nice to see quite a large
number of members from the CCC

hope that this is encouraged and that

The CCC Club Anniversary Ball
The CCC Club Anniversary Ball turned
out to be a fine event, with the Italian
Ballroom Couples ofStefano Fanasca &
Michela Battisti and Allessandro Garofolo
& Anna Maria Bassano giving us a superb
display of what is Ballroon & Latin dancing
with an Italian touch. Unfortunately what
did not help the display was the very poor
lighting conditions during the display.
Members who were sitting at both extreme
ends of the hall were finding it very hard to
define the movements and so missed quite a
bit of what was turned out to be a superb
display by these two couples.
